SupaDevynios. Shrovetide Carnival
From the beginning of February through the end of March the world welcomes flamboyant spring heralds – carnivals, abounding in music, dance and unbridled fantasy. This event will not escape Lithuania either.
Events "SupaDevynios", combining ancient Lithuanian myths and classic works of the world literature, do not stop fascinating their spectators. For the coming Shrovetide the latest project will be presented – a surrealistic carnival.
Such professionals as Rafailas Karpis, sisters Daiva and Justė Starinskaitės, Gytis Ivanauskas’ theatre troupe and many others will come together in the name of "SupaDevynios" night to organise this carnival.
Circus artists, green fairies, equilibrists, live music, women of "rubber bones", lake, fire, impressive bar show and professional soloists – all of it you can watch at art factory "Loftas" in Vilnius on 24th February.
