This Sunday the mysterious gothic domes of Trakai Castle Great Hall will be filled with intriguing music programme Mephistopheles’ Spell featuring Liudas Mikalauskas (bass). One of the most promising Lithuanian vocalists of younger generation he is perfectly at home with the imposing Mephistopheles from Gounod’s Faust as well as the witty Figaro (The Barber of Seville) and the clumsy Don Basilio (The Marriage of Figaro) among other opera characters.
The soloist shares the stage with a unique string group BASS ARCO – cellists Giedrius Daunoravičius, Tomas Šatas and Domas Jakštas, and double bassist Dainius Rudvalis.
