Lithuanian flag procession
On January 13th all Lithuanians and guest are invited to accompany the 200 meters in length of the Lithuanian flag bar, which will be carried Gediminas Avenue from the Cathedral and Parliament House.
All those who want to accompany a symbolic flag, which will be carried Gediminas av.from from the Cathedral and Independence Square should be at the Cathedral Square at 11AM. Procession will begin at 11:15AM. The symbolic flag should be brought to the Independence Square to Parliament House till 12AM, where the solemn ceremony will begin. Symbolic flag will welcome heads of state and guests.
After the solemn celebration at 12AM at Independence Square will be the National Flag-raising ceremony, in which Irena Degutienė and president of the Republic of Latvia Valdis Zalters will participate.
