Social responsibility in Lithuania 

The Lithuanian television began the National Eurovision Selection. The first semi-final which was held on 4th of February showed the three finalists: Beissoul, The Independent, Multiks.

Lithuania began to operate eParkingas, an automatic vehicle entry and exit registering and charging system. The service provider, Lithuanian company Lutex.

Žuvintas became a part of the Man and Biosphere - MAB network. Due to this, there is planing to arange the certificate ceremony which will honor the Lithuania‘s nature.

On the 3rd of December, the dancesport formation team „Žuvėdra“ of Klaipėda University was acknowledged as the best in the world for the seventh time. Lithuanian dancers won in the World Latin American Dance Championship.

Sunday, the 20th of November 2011, marks the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Accident Victims. In Vilnius, in the Cathedral Square, there were ignited more than 15 000 candles for all road traffic accident victims.
